On August 2, middle & high school Connecticut educators participated in a Building with Biology professional development workshop with Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) faculty and participated in the forum “Should We Edit the Genome? When, Why, and How Much?” along with SCSU's first ever iGEM team.

Engineering Inside and Out at Science Central in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Science Central paired our Building with Biology event with Fort Wayne Indiana’s annual Three River Festival, where we partnered with a local architecture firm for an engineering egg drop competition from the top of our roof, also premiering the Building with Biology activities to highlight that engineering happens on the micro scale as well.

The Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) campus comes alive every summer with the excitement of young people learning about science and engineering. Among the many summer camps is the annual week-long residential Summer Solutions For Girls program that learned to Build with Biology!
